Hey there! I’m Allison! I have been on the sidelines of the body piercing industry since starting my relationship with James. In 2023 some life changes occurred that allowed me to start working reception for James at Beelistic. It wasn’t long before I developed an interest in learning his trade! I’ve had a number of career paths/jobs in my life and some of them absolutely helped me develop skills that make learning to pierce a smoother experience.

I am an artist. From when I was very young I could be found drawing & sketching (mostly horses!) I have a well developed artistic eye and love helping to plan and curate piercings! Sculpting tiny clay creatures allowed me to develop a steady and soft hand. These skills have lent themselves to piercing incredibly well!

I am a chemist. It was in chemistry labs (in school, graduate school, and industry) that I developed a manner for efficiency, attention to detail, and cross contamination procedures.

I am a teacher. I never thought I could be a teacher, however, I found myself tutoring in college. Moving onto graduate school, I found myself teaching undergraduate students. I taught high school science (AP Physics, College Chemistry, & Physical Science) for a few years. I have also been a horse trainer & instructor, teaching horses and humans.

And now, I am a body piercer. The skills gained in my various career paths have made the transition to becoming a body piercer smooth. I am fortunate to be learning with James Watts, who has 20+ years experience in the industry. I am also learning from a Guest Artist we have at Beelistic, Zak DuBois, who also has 20+ years experience. Being able to learn from both of them is an incredible opportunity that I am grateful to experience.
